Office Michael Baribeau Memorial Scholarship

Up to $5,000 available 

Applicants must be graduating from a Rusk or Barron County High School, any student currently enrolled at Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College, or any student currently enrolled at University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire-Barron County Campus. Applicants must comply with the admission requirements for a full-time student in a Police Science or Criminal Justice program at a vocational/technical school or college.

Dunn County Dairy Promotion Committee Scholarship

$500

Applicants must be enrolled or preparing to enroll in a post-secondary education. (4 -year college; 2-year technical college or a 9-month Farm Short Course.)  Applicants must be a resident of Dunn County. Applicants must live on a dairy farm or work for a dairy farmer. Applicants must hold or be nearing successful completion of a high school diploma or GED. Photo of the applicant for publicity must be submitted with this application. The applicant acknowledges the Dunn County Dairy Promotion Committee’s right to publish the applicant's name and photo in publicity materials.

Scholarship amounts vary.

Open to all applicants who are interested.  Also, applicants are considered on the basis of character, leadership, theatre involvement, scholarship, and community service.

Horatio Alger Association Career & Technical Scholarship Program

Up to $2,500 available 

1,020 scholarships may be awarded

Applicants must complete high school by spring 2020, commitment to pursue and complete  a career or technical certificate/degree, Pell, eligibility, student is under the age 30, and a United States citizen.

Emmans Memorial Scholarship

$2,500

The applicant must: Have been a registrant in the Boy Scouts of America for a minimum 3 year period during high school and currently reside in the Chippewa Valley Council. Be a graduating high school senior and an entering post-secondary school freshman in the

year he/she is applying for a scholarship. Example: 2020 grants are awarded only to high

school seniors graduating in 2020.

Carrie Crystal Stuckert Memorial Scholarship

Two $2,000 and three $1,000

 Interested candidates must possess extracurricular accomplishments and inspirational goals.  Academically capable students must be enrolled as an Art Major at an accredited institute of higher education located in the United States. (This includes Art Therapy).  All applicants must be a U.S. citizen. Recipients will be required to provide evidence of college acceptance before money is awarded.

BARRON COUNTY MASTER GARDENER VOLUNTEERS SCHOLARSHIP 

$500


Must be in a horticulture program – landscape design, turf management or general program

Must be a Barron County high school senior or have graduated from a Barron County high school and are attending an accredited 2 or 4 year school

Must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher

Should be or have been an active participant in school and community activities

Ab Nicholas Scholarship

$10,000 scholarship available for four-year program, $5,000 scholarships available for two-year programs. 

Applicants must be a resident of Wisconsin and attend a public or private high school. Applicants must participate in the schools basketball program in their senior year. Applicants must also plan to attend a University of Wisconsin System school.

Heart of the North Builders Association Scholarship 

$500 

Heart of the North Builders Association is granting a scholarship to a graduating senior who will be seeking post-high school education in any one of, but not limited to, the following fields relating to the construction industry: 

  • Construction Management
  • Residential Construction
  • Cabinet Making
  • Architecture 
  • Drafting
  • Engineering
  • Building Trades 
  • Interior Design 
  • Landscape Design
  • Or other Trades relating to the construction Industry.

2020 Wisconsin Towns Association Scholarship Program

$1,000

Two scholarships may be awarded, one each to the highest ranking boy and girl from a town or village insured by Rural Mutual Insurance Company as of May 1, 2020.

Five scholarships may be awarded to the top five additional students

All applicants must graduate from a  Wisconsin public or private high school in 2020 and plan to attend a Wisconsin public or private college or University in 2020.

PB&J Scholarship

Open to all college-bound seniors at Prairie Farm High School and who are going to attend an accredited 2-year or 4-year college in fall 2020
