Mosaic Technologies Scholarship

Scholarship amounts vary 

Applicants must be a high school senior graduating in 2021 that plans to enroll in a full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited 1, 2, or 4-year United States college or university in the fall of 2021. Parent(s) or guardian(s) of the student must reside in Mosaic Technologies’ serving area and subscribe to one or more Mosaic Technologies service(s).

Beyond the Boroughs National Scholarship

$20,000

Applicants must have been accepted to an accredited four-year college, university, or equivalent. Applicants must come from a low income household. Applicants must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher and involvement in extracurricular activities or work. Applicants must complete a full application including a completed Student Aid Report from the Free Application for Federal Student Aid.

Barron Electric Scholarship 

Two $1,000 Scholarships available 

Applicants must have parents or guardians that are Barron Electric Cooperative Members. Applicants whose relatives are directors, employees, or former employees/directors of Barron Electric Cooperative do not qualify. Applicants must be a senior who will graduate and pursue a post-secondary education.

Odenza Marketing Group Scholarship 

$500

Applicants must be between the ages of 16 and 25 on March 30, 2021. Applicants must submit answers to the essay questions, which can be found on the application page, prior to the deadline. Applicants must have at least one full year of post secondary studies remaining at the time of the award. Applicants must have a grade point average of 2.5 or greater and be a citizen of the United States of Canada.

2021 Manufacturing Works Scholarship 

$500

Applicants must be a current high school senior eligible for graduation in 2021. Applicants must be attending Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College, Chippewa Valley Technical College, or University of Wisconsin Stout in a manufacturing program as a full-time student for the 2021-2022 school year. Preference will be given to Advanced Manufacturing Skills Gap Careers; examples: Welding, Machine Tool, Quality Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, or Electromechanical/Industrial Maintenance.

Barron County Commission on Agriculture Scholarship 

$750 

Applicants must reside in Barron County. Applicants must be currently enrolled or planning to enter an Agricultural or Natural Resources Field of Study. Preference may be given to students of Farm Families and/or students with Agricultural or Natural Resources work experience. Scholarship proceeds will be issued upon completion of one semester of study and upon proof of enrollment for an additional semester.

Duggy Nelson Memorial Scholarship 

$500

Applicant must be a Barron County resident or student enrolled in a Barron County school, enrolling in a college or vocational/technical school in a course of study leading to a two or four-year degree in police science, criminal justice, or law enforcement-related (which does not include law school), emergency medical technician, or paramedic field is eligible.

Barron County Farm Bureau

$250

Applicants must be a graduating high school senior who is enrolled in an accredited college, university, or technical college with preference given to students from Farm Bureau families. This scholarship will be based on the applicant’s past school and community activities, plans for future education and a letter of recommendation.

Wisconsin Bankers Foundation 

$2,000

This scholarship program is open to all graduating high school seniors who will be furthering their education at a Wisconsin state-accredited college, university, or state-operated technical school. Applicants may plan to enroll on a full -time or part-time basis (minimum of six credits).

Barron County Deputy Sheriff’s Association Local 290

$250

Any Barron County High School Senior may apply seeking post-secondary education. Preference will not be given based on area of study. All are encouraged to apply.

Officer Michael Baribeau Memorial Scholarship 

Up to $5000 available 

Applicants must be any student graduating from a Rusk or Barron County High School, any student currently enrolled at Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College, or any student currently enrolled at University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire-Barron County Campus. Applicants must comply with the admission requirements for a full-time student in a Police Science or Criminal Justice program at a vocational/technical school or college.

Dunn County Dairy Promotion Scholarship 

$500

Applicants must be enrolled or preparing to enroll in a post-secondary education. Applicants must be a resident of Dunn County. Applicants must live on a dairy farm or work for a dairy farmer. Applicants must hold or be nearing successful completion of a high school diploma or GED.

Barron Spotlighters Scholarship

Scholarship amounts vary. 

This scholarship is available to any high school senior that has been involved in theatre activities during their high school or grade school years.

Carrie Crystal Stuckert Memorial Scholarship 

Scholarship amounts vary

Interested candidates must possess extracurricular accomplishments and inspirational goals. Academically capable students must be enrolled as an Art Major at an accredited institution of higher education located in the United States. (This includes Art Therapy Programs). All applicants must be United States citizens. Recipients will be required to provide evidence of college acceptance before money is awarded.

Ab Nicholas Scholarship Foundation 

$10,000 for a four-year program and $5,000 for a two-year program. 

Applicants must be a resident of Wisconsin and attend a public or private high school. Applicants must participate in basketball their senior year. Applicants must be planning to attend a University of Wisconsin System School. Applicants must not be participating in sports at the Division I level in college (4-year program only).

Foremost Media, Inc. Annual Scholarship 

$500

Applicants must be a graduating senior who is entering Marketing or Web Development. Applicants must submit a 250-500 word essay. Applicants must be a resident of the United States. Applicants must be enrolling at an accredited two or four-year college or trade school.  Applications must include a letter of recommendation.

Wisconsin Towns Association 2021 Scholarship Program 

$7000

Applicants must be high school seniors graduating in 2021 from either a public or private high school in Wisconsin. Applicants must plan to enroll in a Wisconsin public or private college or university in 2021. The winners are determined by independent judging of an essay contest. The essay should address the topic: “What lessons can town governments take from the COVID-19 pandemic to improve their emergency management systems and prepare for and respond to future disasters?”

PB & J Scholarship 

$500-$1000

This scholarship is for students who have experienced personal challenges that may not have allowed them to perform well academically. High grade point average is not needed to qualify! Applicants must be a high school senior who is planning to attend an accredited 2-year or 4-year college in the United States.
