ACT Student Champion Award

$500

Students in the graduating class of 2019 who have taken the ACT are encouraged to apply for this award. Students must be a high school senior who has overcome challenges and can articulate their education and/or career actions. At a minimum students must have a composite ACT score of 22 on a single test date OR a Gold ACT WorkKeys National Career Readiness Certificate.

Coca-Cola Scholars Program

150 $20,000 scholarships available

Applicants must be current high school students attending a school in the U.S. who will graduate during the 2018-2019 academic school year and planning to pursue a degree at an accredited U.S. post-secondary institution. Applicants may not be children or grandchildren of employees, officers, or owners of Coca-Cola bottling companies, The Coca-Cola Company, Company divisions or subsidiaries.

Voice of Democracy

$30,000 scholarship available

Voice of Democracy is an audio-essay program that provides high school students with the unique opportunity to express themselves in regards to a democratic and patriotic-themed recorded essay. The 2018-2019 theme is Why My Vote Matters. The scholarship program is open to students in grades 9-12, who are enrolled in a public, private, or parochial high school or home study program in the United States and its territories.

Good360 Sustainability Scholarship

$1,000 scholarship available

Applicants must have a 3.3 minimum grade point average to apply and must be a high school senior applying to college or currently attending college. Applicants must also have an interest in environmentalism or sustainability.

CARiD Scholarship Program

Two $1,000 scholarships available

Applicants must be enrolled in post-secondary education in the upcoming semester and be between the ages of 16 and 20. Applicants may not be a CARiD employee or related to an employee of CARiD or its partners. Applicants should create a photo inspired by any aspect of the automotive industry and email it to scholarship@carid.com.

Herb Kohl Excellence Scholarship

$10,000 scholarships available

Applicants must be a graduating high school student who intends to enroll in a post secondary institution, which may be a public or nonpublic university, college, or vocational/technical college. Students who are residents of the State of Wisconsin, are in good standing, and who demonstrate probable success in postsecondary education are eligible to apply. Three letters of recommendation are required.

2019 Prudential Spirit of Community Awards

Awards vary from Certification of Achievement to $5,000

Eligible to students who are in grades 5-12 as of November 6, 2018, and a legal resident of the United States. Students have to have engaged in a volunteer activity that occurred at least in part after September 1, 2017. Students must also complete an application and submit it to their school principal by November 6, 2018.

Hagan Scholarship Foundation

Need-based Merit Scholarship worth up to $48,000

Applicants must be a citizen of the United States and attend an eligible public high school. Applicants must be in the high school graduating class and have achieved a 3.5 cumulative grade point average or higher. Applicants must score a 23 or higher composite score on the ACT and enroll in an eligible four year college or university the fall semester following high school graduation. Applicants must work 240 hours in the twelve months prior to the start of each academic year of college. Applicants must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) in 2018 with an Estimated Family Contribution (EFC) less than $6,500. Applicants must apply for eligible Federal and State grants and must not have been convicted of a felony.

Engineers Foundation of Wisconsin Scholarships

The scholarships are available to graduating high school seniors who plan to study engineering at a four-year ABET accredited program leading to a baccalaureate degree in engineering and intend to enter the profession of engineering upon graduation.

Five $750 general scholarships available.

This scholarship will be awarded to one graduating high school senior from each of the four membership regions of Wisconsin. An additional at-large scholarship will be given to the next highest scoring applicant. A written essay is required for the application that expands on the following information:

  • The benefits of attending a rural school.

  • Your college and career goals.

  • The value of growing up in a rural community and what personal values you have gained from your experience.

Wisconsin Education Association Council Scholarship

$1,450 per year for four years

This scholarship is available to high school seniors who are planning to go into education and whose parent(s) are a WEAC member, a WEAC retired member or who died while holding a WEAC membership. The student must rank in the top 25% of his/her class or have achieved a 3.0 cumulative grade point average, plan to pursue an education major or minor, and intent to teach in Wisconsin.

B. Davis Scholarship

$1,000 scholarship available.

This scholarship is available to all high school juniors and seniors as well as all students currently registered in any post secondary institution. Be sure to include your name and the school you are attending this year and next. This is not an academic scholarship; however, they would like to know where you are going to school now and what your future academic plans are.

To apply, you will need to write an essay of less than 1000 words on the topic below:

Describe the three characteristics of leadership you value most. Discuss why you believe that these traits are so important and how you feel that they are developed in an individual.
