Meet our new School Resource Officer, Deputy Heather Hughes. Deputy Heather has been on patrol with the Barron County Sheriff’s Office for almost four years. She previously worked for the Rice Lake and Cumberland Police Department’s as well as the Barron County Clerk of Courts and Barron County Communications Center. Her passion for law enforcement is driven by the desire to make a positive impact in the lives of others.
During her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends as well as exploring the outdoors. Deputy Heather has two grandchildren that she suspects will be Prairie Farm Panthers in just a few years!
Deputy Heather is excited to meet the students, build positive relationships, and work with us to help keep our school a safe place.
