Lakeland Honor Society Scholarship

Lakeland Scholarship Application


Barron Electric Cooperative Scholarship

$1,000 Scholarship available

Applicants must have parents or guardians that are Barron Electric Cooperative members. Students whose parents or guardians who are directors, employees, or former employees of Barron Electric do not qualify. Applicants must be seniors who will graduate and pursue a post-secondary education.

Equity Western Livestock Cooperative Scholarship

Three $300 scholarships available

Students must pursue a career in Agriculture and is taking appropriate classes. The student must have participated in Ag related activities like FFA, 4-H, WJDA, etc.

Emmans Memorial Scholarship

$2,500 Scholarship available

Applicants must have been a registered member of the Boy Scouts of America for at least three years while in grades 9-12. This scholarship also applies to girls who are or have been members of a Venture Crew as well.

Carrie Crystal Stuckert Memorial Scholarship

Two $2,000 scholarships and three $1,000 scholarships available

Interested candidates must possess extracurricular accomplishments and inspirational; goals. Academically capable students must be enrolled as an Art Major at an accredited institution of higher education located in the United States. (This includes Art Therapy Programs). All applicants must be U.S. Citizens.

Duggy Nelson Memorial Scholarship

$500 scholarship available

Applicant must be a Barron County resident or student enrolled in a Barron County school, enrolling in a college or vocational/technical school in a course of study leading to a two-or four-year degree in police science, criminal justice, or law enforcement-related field--which does not include law school, is eligible.

Ab Nicholas Scholarship Foundation

Scholarship amount varies.

The Ab Nicholas Scholarship Foundation offers scholarships based on need, academic achievement,  and character for high school senior basketball players and managers, both boys and girls, who plan to attend the University of Wisconsin school system.

$500 scholarship available

Applicants must be a graduating senior who is entering the Marketing or Web Development field. Applicants must be a resident of the United States and must be enrolling at an accredited two- or four-year college or trade school.

Kids’ Chance of Wisconsin Scholarship

Up to $5,000 per year scholarship available

Kids’ Chance of Wisconsin is an organization providing educational scholarships to the children of Wisconsin Workers who have been seriously injured or killed due to work-related accidents.

Vintage Voyagers Street Rods Scholarship

Up to $500 scholarship available

Applicants must be attending WITC or any other technical college after high school graduation. The field of continuing education needs to be auto related or graphic design. To apply for this scholarship, applicants will need to submit a short paragraph on the field they have chosen and why they believe they should receive the scholarship. Applicants will also need to submit a high school attendance record.

Hawkins/Swoboda Scholarship Fund

Four $500 Scholarships Available

This scholarship is open to any River Coutry Co-op member and their children. *Any High school senior, college student, or non-traditional student in either a two- or four-year accredited college or University for any area of study.

Wisconsin Towns Association

Seven $1,000 Scholarships Available

Entrants must prepare an essay addressing the 2019 Wisconsin Towns
Association Scholarship program topic: “Explain the importance of high speed broadband access to town economic and community development.” The typed (not handwritten) essay should be between 500 and 1000 words and double spaced. Essays must include a bibliographic listing of sources used. The completed essay should be postmarked no later than May 31, 2019 and mailed to:

B. Davis Scholarship

$1,000 scholarship available.

This scholarship is available to all high school juniors and seniors as well as all students currently registered in any post secondary institution. Be sure to include your name and the school you are attending this year and next. This is not an academic scholarship; however, they would like to know where you are going to school now and what your future academic plans are.

To apply, you will need to write an essay of less than 1000 words on the topic below:

Describe the three characteristics of leadership you value most. Discuss why you believe that these traits are so important and how you feel that they are developed in an individual.

Horatio Alger Scholarship Program

Up to $2,500 scholarship available

Applicants must have completed high school by Spring and be enrolled in a two-year or less career or technical degree/certificate program in Fall. Applicants must attend a not-for-profit post-secondary institution and demonstrate financial need; applicants must be Pell Grant eligible.  Applicants aso must be a United States Citizen.
