Horatio Alger Scholarship 

Awards range from $10,000 to $25,000

Applications must be graduating from high school in spring or summer and be a United States citizen. Applicants must also demonstrate a critical financial need of $55,000 oor lower adjusted gross family income.

Coca-Cola Scholars Program 

150 $20,000 scholarships available 

Applicants must be a current high school students attending a school in the U.S. who will graduate during the 2019-2020 academic school year and planning to pursue a degree at an accredited U.S. post-secondary institution. Applicants may not be children or grandchildren of employees, officers, or owners of Coca-Cola bottling companies, The Coca-Cola Company, Company divisions or subsidiaries.

Voice of Democracy 

$30,000 scholarship available 

Voice of Democracy is an audio-essay program that provides high school students with the unique opportunity to express themselves in regards to a democratic and patriotic-themed recorded essay. The 2019-2020 theme is What Makes America Great. The scholarship program is open to students in grades 9-12, who are enrolled in a public, private, or parochial high school or home study program in the United States and its territories.

CARiD Scholarship Program

Two $1,000 scholarships available 

Applicants must be enrolled in post-secondary education in the upcoming semester and be between the ages of 16 and 20. Applicants may not be a CARiD employee or related to an employee of CARiD or its partners. Applicants should create a photo inspired by any aspect of the automotive industry and email it to scholarship@carid.com

Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College Scholarships 

Award amounts vary 

Applicants must have applied to Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College and have obtained a Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College Student ID to access the Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College Foundation online scholarship process. To be eligible for the Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College scholarship, applicants must be enrolled in a minimum of six credits in the semester the scholarship will be applied to your account.

Prudential Spirit of Community Awards

Awards vary from Certification of Achievement to $5,000

Eligible to students who are in grades 5-12 as of November 5, 2019, and a legal resident of the United States. Students have to have engaged in a volunteer activity that occurred at least in part after September 1, 2018. Students must also complete an application and submit it to their school principal by November 5, 2019.

Elks National Foundation-Most Valuable Student Contest

National awards range from $1000 per year to $12,500 per year. 

Applicants should be pursuing a four-year degree on a full-time basis at a United States college or university. Applicants must be a current high school seniors who are citizens of the United States. Applicants do not have the be related to a member of the Elks, nor do they have to have an affiliation with Rice Lake Lodge #1441.

Hagan Scholarship Foundation

The scholarship provides up to $6,000 each semester for up to eight consecutive semesters. 

Applicants must be a citizen of the United States and attend an eligible public high school. Applicants must be a student in the high school graduating class and have achieved a 3.75 Cumulative Grade Point Average. Applicants must also have scored a composite score of  24 or higher on the ACT. Applicants must enroll at an eligible four year college or university the fall semester following high school graduation and work 240 hours in the twelve months prior to the start of each academic year of college. Applicants must also complete the FAFSA in 2019 and have an estimated family contribution of less than $6,500.

Elks National Foundation-Legacy Awards 

$4,000

The Legacy awards scholarships for children and grandchildren of dues-paying Elk Members. The Elks National Foundation offers a total of 300 national awards.
