Business Research Guide Scholarships

Two $1,000 scholarships available

Applicants must submit a written business plan of 500 to 1,000 words. The plan must be 100% original. Judges are looking for innovative, viable business plans that are well thought-out and clearly described. Available to U.S. Citizens who have been accepted to or are enrolled at an accredited college or university in the U.S.

Parking Solutions Scholarship

$1,000 scholarship available

Students will write a 500-word essay that is original, creative, and persuasive on the subject of technology innovation in parking solutions, specifically from your perspective as a student. They are interested in learning your opinions about how parking can be more user-friendly, efficient or otherwise enhanced. Try to be concise, but your submission may be longer than 500 words. Applicants must be enrolled, or due to be enrolled, in a program at an accredited graduate school, university or college, vocational school, technical school, or community college.

Wendy's High School Heisman Scholarship

100 $5,000 scholarships available

Students must have a cumulative high school grade point average of a 3.0 or better. Students also must participate in at least one of the 47 sports recognized by the international Olympic committee in the summer and winter Olympic games or the national federation of state high school association and sponsored by your school.

Horatio Alger Scholarship

106 $25,000 scholarships available

Students must be a full-time high school senior planning on entering a college in the united states no later than fall following graduation, and exhibit a strong commitment to pursue and complete a bachelor's degree program. Students must demonstrate a critical financial need, be involved in co-curricular and community service activities, display integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity, maintain a minimum grade point average of 2.0, and be a United States Citizen.

ACT Student Champion Award

$500

Students in the graduating class of 2019 who have taken the ACT are encouraged to apply for this award. Students must be a high school senior who has overcome challenges and can articulate their education and/or career actions. At a minimum students must have a composite ACT score of 22 on a single test date OR a Gold ACT WorkKeys National Career Readiness Certificate.

Coca-Cola Scholars Program

150 $20,000 scholarships available

Applicants must be current high school students attending a school in the U.S. who will graduate during the 2018-2019 academic school year and planning to pursue a degree at an accredited U.S. post-secondary institution. Applicants may not be children or grandchildren of employees, officers, or owners of Coca-Cola bottling companies, The Coca-Cola Company, Company divisions or subsidiaries.

Voice of Democracy

$30,000 scholarship available

Voice of Democracy is an audio-essay program that provides high school students with the unique opportunity to express themselves in regards to a democratic and patriotic-themed recorded essay. The 2018-2019 theme is Why My Vote Matters. The scholarship program is open to students in grades 9-12, who are enrolled in a public, private, or parochial high school or home study program in the United States and its territories.

Good360 Sustainability Scholarship

$1,000 scholarship available

Applicants must have a 3.3 minimum grade point average to apply and must be a high school senior applying to college or currently attending college. Applicants must also have an interest in environmentalism or sustainability.

CARiD Scholarship Program

Two $1,000 scholarships available

Applicants must be enrolled in post-secondary education in the upcoming semester and be between the ages of 16 and 20. Applicants may not be a CARiD employee or related to an employee of CARiD or its partners. Applicants should create a photo inspired by any aspect of the automotive industry and email it to scholarship@carid.com.

2019 Prudential Spirit of Community Awards

Awards vary from Certification of Achievement to $5,000

Eligible to students who are in grades 5-12 as of November 6, 2018, and a legal resident of the United States. Students have to have engaged in a volunteer activity that occurred at least in part after September 1, 2017. Students must also complete an application and submit it to their school principal by November 6, 2018.

Hagan Scholarship Foundation

Need-based Merit Scholarship worth up to $48,000

Applicants must be a citizen of the United States and attend an eligible public high school. Applicants must be in the high school graduating class and have achieved a 3.5 cumulative grade point average or higher. Applicants must score a 23 or higher composite score on the ACT and enroll in an eligible four year college or university the fall semester following high school graduation. Applicants must work 240 hours in the twelve months prior to the start of each academic year of college. Applicants must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) in 2018 with an Estimated Family Contribution (EFC) less than $6,500. Applicants must apply for eligible Federal and State grants and must not have been convicted of a felony.
