Adam Moen Memorial Scholarship
AMOUNT: $1000
Eligibility:
Applicant must be accepted and enrolled in an approved program at a post-secondary institution. All seniors planning post-secondary education should have at least a 3.0 GPA
Those going into the career field of education (specifically a guidance counselor or a history major of some sort) will have an edge when applying, but all majors are able to apply
Applications can be found in the google classroom.
Applications are due February 12, 2024 to Mrs. Elwood.
Most Valuable Student (MVS) Contest:
AMOUNT: 500 - 4 yr Scholarships $1,000-$7,500 per year
Eligibility: MVS scholarships are for students pursuing a four-year degree on a full-time basis (minimum of 12 semester hours), at a U.S. college or university next school year. Some important applicant details include: Current high school seniors (or equivalent) who are citizens of the United States are eligible to apply. Applicants do not have to be related to a member of the Elks. Male and female students compete separately.
Applicants select from a list of the Lodges closest to their home address zip code. Please have your students choose Rice Lake #1441 as their sponsoring Lodge.

Legacy Awards
AMOUNT : 350 national awards $4,000
Eligibility: Legacy Awards provide $4,000 scholarships for children and grandchildren of dues-paying Elk members. The ENF offers a total of 350 national awards.

The Terry Ni Engineering Scholarship
AMOUNT: 1 to 6 - minimum $3,000
Eligibility: Plan to study engineering at a four year ABET/EAC accredited program leading to a baccalaureate degree in engineering and intend to enter the profession of engineering upon graduation. Application should be emailed as a single combined .pdf file (10MB max) to the local chapter scholarship representative identified on the last page of the application. Please name the file as follows: LastnameFirstname.pdf.

Barron County Electric
AMOUNT: $1,000
We are excited to offer three different scholarship opportunities to member students through one application.
The application deadline is Friday, January 10, 2025. Winners will be randomly selected in March, notified, and announced at Barron Electric's Annual Meeting on April 15, 2025 at the Barron Area Community Center.
Eligibility: High School Seniors of Barron Electric members who will be attending a technical college or two/four college/university

Mayo Clinic Health System 2025 Healthcare Career Scholarship
AMOUNT: $1,000
Mayo Clinic Health System is committed to supporting the continuing education of students within our communities. To show our continued commitment to the workforce of the future, we will award a $1,000 scholarship to a graduating senior from your high school who plans to continue their education in a healthcare-related field.
Eligibility:
All high school students who plan to continue their education in a healthcare-related field are eligible to apply for this scholarship.

Wisconsin Professional Police Association (WPPA) Scholarship
AMOUNT: Undetermined
Eligibility:
Any Wisconsin resident enrolling in a college or vocational/technical school in a course of study leading to a two- or four-year degree in police science, criminal justice, or a law enforcement-related field—which does not include law school—is eligible.

Xello & Method Learning High School Scholarship 2024-2025
AMOUNT: $500
The Wisconsin School Counselor Association (WSCA), in partnership with Xello & Method Learning, has established the WSCA High School Scholarship Program to assist students with their post-secondary education.

Eligibility:
Are you eligible to apply for the WSCA high school scholarship?
Unless otherwise specified, you must:
Be a Wisconsin resident. Residency is defined by WSCA when:
An independent student or the parents of a dependent student have continuously resided in Wisconsin for the previous 12 months.
A student has continuously enrolled a minimum of one academic year within the past 12-month period at a Wisconsin high school.
Be a graduating Wisconsin high school student during the current academic year.
In the state of Wisconsin for any reason, other than a temporary purpose (ie. student visa, travel visa, etc.)
Are attending a public or private high school in WisconsinWill be attending a post-secondary education program during the 2025-2026 school year.
