PRAIRIE FARM CIVIC CLUB SCHOLARSHIP
Amount: $200 x2
Two $200 scholarships will be presented to recipients who are enrolled as full-time students. Proof of enrollment should be available upon request. The scholarships will be presented by a Civic Club member at the Senior Award Ceremony on Wednesday, May 14, at 7:00 PM.

2025 PRAIRIE FARM AREA LION’S SCHOLARSHIP
Amount: $500
The Prairie Farm Area Lion’s Club will be offering scholarships of $500.00 each to qualifying seniors who will graduate in 2025 from the Prairie Farm and Barron High Schools. At least one member of the Prairie Farm Area Lions will work with each school district to assist in the selection and presentation of the awards.
The scholarship may be used to assist in financing education and training for full-time students at Colleges and Universities, Technical Schools, and private, or approved educational training programs that offer an Associate Degree.

NEDLAND INDUSTRIES INC. SCHOLARSHIP
Amount: $500 x2
Attend a vocational school or college with at least a 1 year full time program. Scholarships will be based on coursework and school achievements. Two scholarships of $500 each. Check will be made out to the school of your choice upon 2nd semester registration. A note of appreciation will be sent to Nedland Industries. Prairie Farm Sportsman Club Scholarship
Amount: $500 x2
Scholarships are available to any eligible graduating high school seniors. The purpose of these scholarships is to provide educational assistance to individuals who will be supporting and enjoying our rights and resources as outdoor enthusiasts. We have set aside $1000 which will be awarded in two $500 scholarships to two eligible applicants for this purpose. Please complete the form below and attach a short typed essay.

Hay River Quilters Scholarship
Amount: $250
Applicant must be accepted and enrolled in an approved program at a post-secondary institution. All seniors planning post-secondary education are eligible regardless of G.P.A. or class rank. Applicant must have demonstrated consistent integrity, good citizenship, leadership, and service in school, and community activities. Demonstrated financial need will be considered in the selection process. Student code numbers rather than student names will be used on the applications. Prairie Farm Sheridan Fire Department Scholarship

Eligibility: Applicant must live in the area serviced by the fire department (Town of Prairie Farm, Township of Prairie Farm, Township of Sheridan or Township of Vance Creek). Applicant must be accepted and enrolled in an approved program at a post-secondary institution. Applicant must have a “C” or better average. Applicant must have demonstrated consistent integrity, good citizenship, leadership, and service in school, and community activities. Demonstrated financial need will be considered in the selection process. A signed letter of appreciation shall be submitted to the Fire Department upon notification of selection.

Amount: $200
Eligibility: Applicants must be accepted and enrolled in an approved program at a post-secondary institution. All seniors planning post-secondary education should have at least a 2.5 GPA. Applicants must have demonstrated consistent integrity, good citizenship, leadership, and service in school and community activities. Demonstrated financial need will be considered in the selection process. Students who may qualify for free or reduced lunch or supply an essay demonstrating financial need. David Wilcox Memorial scholarship
Amount: $400
Eligibility: Plans to attend a vocational school or technical school with at least a 1 year full- time program. Scholarship will be based on coursework and achievements.A note of appreciation will be sent to Countryside Plumbing & Heating. Check will be made out to the school of your choice upon 2nd semester registration and transcripts from the previous semester.

Eligibility: Applicants must be accepted and enrolled in an approved program at a post-secondary institution. Barron County Sheriff’s Association

Eligibility: Any Barron County High School Senior may apply seeking post-secondary education. Please attach the answers to the questions that can be found on the application. Do not exceed 300 words per response.

Physical Therapy & Rehab Specialists Scholarship
Amount: $500
Eligibility: Students seeking further education in service-oriented career fields. (Not limited to health care professions or those with interest in physical therapy). Application must be typed in an essay-format, answering the questions on the application.

Andrew Cray Higher Education Fund

Eligibility: In order to be considered eligible for the 2025 Andrew Cray Higher Education Fund (HEF), applicants must: Be LGBTQ+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, or any other of the limitless sexual orientations and gender identities used by members of our community).Be a class of 2025 high school senior. Live and attend high school in Northwestern Wisconsin. Be in good academic standing for graduation. Mosaic Technologies 2025 Scholarship
Amount: $500-$1,000
Eligibility: Candidate must be a high school senior graduating in 2025 that plans to enroll in a
full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited 2 or 4-year U.S. College or
University in the fall of 2025. Parent(s) or Guardian(s) of the student must reside in Mosaic Technologies serving area AND subscribe to one or more Mosaic Technologies service(s).
Entries must be at least 750 words and may not exceed 1000 words. To be considered, essay entries must be accompanied by a completed application and a recent or Senior digital photo for publication on our website.

2025 Community Service Scholarship
Amount: $500
Eligibility: To be considered for scholarship.Student must be a graduating senior. Must be a resident in the 54763-zip code (Ridgeland). Demonstrate a scholastic achievement with GPA of 2.0 or higher. Intent on attending a secondary school (college or technical). Share the Ridgeland Civic Club commitment to serve the community.Recipient disbursement of $500 scholarship fund: Recipient must maintain a 2.5 (or better) GPA during their first quarter of post-secondary
education.Must be enrolled with a minimum of five (5) credits and be in good standing at the school they are attending. Disbursement of $500, will be awarded after all qualifications are met and with receipt of transcripts and verification of enrollment from eligible recipient.

US Constitution Contest
Amount: $250
Eligibility: On this day Feb, 8th at 10:00 a.m at the Rice Lake Elk Lodge. Part 1 is a 40-question multiple choice exam that focuses on the U.S. Constitution. Part 2 of the test will be a question that will require the student to write out a short essay to respond. Part 2 of the test will only be judged if a tie from part 1 occurs. Once the exam is complete, we will grade and advise the student that day as to how they did and if they will move on to the next phase. The student with the best score will proceed to the next level where they will compete with the state. On April 6th at 11:00 a.m., the student will be required to take another test at the Rice Lake Elk’s Lodge. The test will then be sent to the State Chairman to be graded and scholarship awards to be determined. There will be 13 individuals who will receive a scholarship from the State level.
In addition, the Rice Lake Elk’s Lodge will be selecting a candidate to receive their local scholarship of $250. The winner of this scholarship will be announced by April 7th and presented to the participant at the Rice Lake Elk’s Lodge Community banquet that will be held on April 10th.

Bill Susa Memorial Scholarship
AMOUNT: $1,000
Eligibility: In memory of Bill Susa, a scholarship was started for students pursuing a career in agriculture. The ideal candidate for this scholarship is passionate about agriculture and has a strong work ethic.

Jennie-O Scholarship Program
AMOUNT: $6,000 & $1,000
Eligibility: Jennie-O is offering more than $60,000 in continuing education scholarships to graduating high school seniors who meet the specific eligibility criteria. The deadline to apply is March 1, 2025 at 11:59 pm. $6,000 Golden Excellence Scholarship (up to two scholarships available; paid out at $1,500/yr over four years)
Must be the child of a full-time Jennie-O team member who works within the Supply Chain Operations Division of Jennie-O (this is defined as any team member who reports up to Jennie-O’s vice president of Supply Chain Operations in the company’s organizational chart).
Must have a “B” grade point average (3.00) or higher in high school.
Can major in any field and must plan to attend a U.S.-based four-year college full time in order to obtain a bachelor’s degree (it is acceptable to attend a U.S.-based two-year community/junior college with plans to transfer to a four-year college).
Recipient selection is based primarily on academics while taking into consideration the written essay.
$1,000 Continuing Education Scholarship (up to 50 scholarships available; unrenewable one-time payment)

Adam Moen Memorial Scholarship
AMOUNT: $1000
Eligibility:
Applicant must be accepted and enrolled in an approved program at a post-secondary institution. All seniors planning post-secondary education should have at least a 3.0 GPA
Those going into the career field of education (specifically a guidance counselor or a history major of some sort) will have an edge when applying, but all majors are able to apply

Most Valuable Student (MVS) Contest:
AMOUNT: 500 - 4 yr Scholarships $1,000-$7,500 per year
Eligibility: MVS scholarships are for students pursuing a four-year degree on a full-time basis (minimum of 12 semester hours), at a U.S. college or university next school year. Some important applicant details include: Current high school seniors (or equivalent) who are citizens of the United States are eligible to apply. Applicants do not have to be related to a member of the Elks. Male and female students compete separately.
Applicants select from a list of the Lodges closest to their home address zip code. Please have your students choose Rice Lake #1441 as their sponsoring Lodge.
